I received the logo for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Wine and Food Festival, and was tasked with creating the event website and program. Creating a design was simple, as the event already had an iconic look with their dynamic wine splash graphic.
The real challenge was organizing the plethora of information, including detailed lists of the hundreds of wines served, and dozens of restaurants and vendors in an easy-to-read manner for over 4,000 event patrons.
I created this informational business card sized trifold for the 23 WAYS to Stop Youth Violence initiative, part of Miami Dolphin’s Ronnie Brown Project. They address critical issues and challenges faced by the youth of South Florida.
The campaign logo was created by Miami-based artist Sergio Quiñoez.
Native American Travel is a fully accredited travel agency established in 2009 and owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. I created a logo that reflected the movement of travel, integrating the traditional ‘medicine colors’ of white, black, yellow and red.
A great brand consistency was achieved throughout their stationery package through the use of colors and placement of the logo. The design is traditional, with a clean, minimal feel. This was a really fun project to work on!
The STEP program was developed as part of the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum’s commitment to sharing knowledge about the Seminole life and culture. They provide other institutions with quality traveling exhibitions.
This logo design is among my favorites – I love the combination of brush script with the clean sans serif font, reflecting the rich heritage juxtaposed with the modern institutions borrowing these exhibitions. The STEP letters are also arranged in such a way as to resemble steps.
I was approached by my friend and early childhoold specialist Enery Lopez to create a whimsical logo for her non-profit organization, ¡Ju! Inc which promotes children-led play in repurposed urban spaces. I’ve also had the pleasure of creating the flyers for most of their pop-up playground events.
As part of the organization’s continued brand development, I created the graphics and animations for their presentation at the 2014 World Forum on Early Care and Education. In attendance were 841 early childhood professionals from 81 nations.
Ms. Lopez was a keynote speaker for the Promoting Play in the Community panel, sharing Ju’s innovative ideas and approach.
Inspired by southern rock Americana and blues, this three panel exclusive invite incorporates wood and leather textures, with cowboy imagery elements. It was printed on a beautiful thick, matte stock with a simple envelope imprint to accommodate bulk mailing specifications.
I love the look of the typography treatments I developed – simple, easy-to-read yet totally reminiscent of vintage rock and roll posters. Guests were invited to be part of an exclusive weekend with a chance to win over $100,000 in cash prizes, as well free tickets to see Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd and political commentator Bill O’Reilly.
Inspired by vintage tequila bottles, this rack card design for Mexican restaurant Tequila Ranch invites guests to enjoy their Cinco de Mayo celebration and party with radio personalities from Power96.
Colorful, yet easy to read, it reflects the upscale yet fun vibe of the restaurant – which is part of Seminole Hard Rock’s outdoor entertainment complex, Seminole Paradise.
