Rock N’ Roll BeerBQue

I was provided the logo for the Rock N’ Roll BeerBQue event at the Hard Rock and tasked with creating a two-page spread advertisement that highlighted all the features of the beer and food festival.

Scrumptious-looking food photography catch the eye, while the beers and restaurants are featured in an easy-to-read manner. I love the challenge of figuring out how to include a lot of information in a way that is pleasing to the eye!

Star-Studded Summer Event

I loved working on this project for Seminole Hard Rock’s Star-Studded Fourth of July Summer Event. This three-panel was printed on a rich, thick paper stock and sent to the casino’s VIPs and high rollers.

Guests received two free tickets to see world-class acts Boston, Ringo Starr, Earth, Wind & Fire, Al Green and Don McLean, as well as a four night hotel’s stay. I created the event logo treatment, as well as the colorful graphics and verbiage.

Cirque Dreams Ad

I created this advertisement for the opening of the Cirque Dreams show, as well as the casino and Hard Rock Live concert offerings. With a flap that wraps around the Main News section, this was a premium advertising position.

The 3 part design with front flap, inner flap and inner back cover that can be read continuously caught the eye of over 200,000 readers.

USET Presentation Folder & Commemorative Book

In 2009, I created a beautiful presentation folder with custom pockets and inserts to be included as part of the reception for the United South and Eastern Tribes’ 40th Anniversary celebration. Founded in 1969 by the Eastern Band of Cherokee, the Mississippi Choctaw, the Miccosukee Tribe and the Seminole tribe of Florida, USET, as it has come to be known, has served as an advocate for tribal concerns for Native Nations east of the Mississippi River in Washington, DC.

The commemorative book was a 160 page red leather-bound collectible book with an enamel-painted gold commemorative plaque on the cover. To date, it’s been one of the most ambitious projects I’ve worked on. It included a biography and photos of all 25 Tribes that are members of USET, as well as the history of the organization and its cabinet members.

All Year Cooling

Using a palette of blues to reflect the cooling power of All Year Cooling’s product – I created a brochure to highlight the benefits of their Pure Aire 300 comprehensive 6 part cleaning process.

The clean, modern graphics reflect the technology of their product, with an easy-to-read benefit list that makes use of icons to make the information pop.

Jackpot! Exhibit

Jackpot! first debuted at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum at Okalee in October 2007. I created the art-deco logo, panel design and timeline illustrations for the 6 pop-up banners, as well as an exhibition brochure, and other print advertisements for this traveling exhibit.

This was one of my favorite projects I’ve ever worked on. It focuses on the history of Seminole Gaming, from its beginnings to the vast and prestigious operation it is today, particularly after their historic acquisition of the Hard Rock Cafe, hotel and casino business.

Education Across the Americas Conference

I created a sketchy, hand-drawn logo treatment for the Association of Latin American Students and Teachers College, Columbia University’s 9th Annual Education Across the Americas Conference. The logo was used for gift tote bags, as well as the posters, flyers and the program booklet.

This two-day conference invited members of different learning and scholarly communities from Latin America, the Caribbean, and North America, to share their experiences and knowledge on the promotion of educational development and educational change across the Americas.
